On our usual Roundtable night of the 3rd Wednesday, on July 19th, 2023, Pio Pico District will be having a Recharter Training/Refresher ONLY. This will be focused on Recharter Training only and will not be a full agenda Roundtable.
So be sure to come on down and join us as this training will be provided for units that have new volunteers that need to be trained or for anyone who would like a refresher in preparation for the Recharter.
Email the counselor to reserve your seat in a merit badge class and to get pre-requisites (be sure to cc your Scout Leader and Parent on all emails, per 2-deep Youth Protection guidelines)

The Pio Pico District would like to announce an in-person training opportunity for leaders of Scouts BSA Troops will take place on September 9th, 2023 at East Whittier United Methodist Church 10005 Cole Rd, Whittier, CA 90603. This course fulfills one of the requirements to become a “Trained” leader.
The material can be found online but this course is enhanced with personal instruction, face-to-face interactions and activities, and Q&A with experienced Scout Leaders. Those who benefit include Scoutmasters & Assistant Scoutmasters, Key-3 Members, Junior Assistant Scoutmasters, and Committee Members.
