District Roundtable Meeting

3rd Wednesday of the month at 7pm.

Pio Pico District Roundtable Meetings are coming to your city in 2024 (and 2025)! Don’t miss out on NEW training topics and locations.

Roundtable is open to all adults! Not just unit leaders. Bring your unit leaders and parents to learn what our district is all about. We ask that if possible that at least one leader from each unit would be available to attend the monthly Roundtable.

We will be rotating where we host our Pio Pico District Roundtable between these three cities throughout the year: Cerritos, Downey, and Whittier. The dates for which each location will host Roundtable are as follows:

• Cerritos, CA NEW DATES FOR 2025! – Gonsalves Elementary School, 13650 Park St, Cerritos, CA 90703:
  • Third Wednesday of January 2025, 7pm
  • Third Wednesday of April 2025, 7pm
  • Third Wednesday of October 2025, 7pm
• Downey, CA NEW DATES FOR 2025! – Downey United Methodist Church (Fellowship Hall) – 10801 Downey Ave, Downey, CA 90241:
  • Third Wednesday of February 2025, 7pm
  • Third Wednesday of May 2025, 7pm
  • Third Wednesday of August 2025, 7pm
  • Third Wednesday of November 2025, 7pm
• Whittier, CA – First United Methodist Church of Whittier (Social Hall on Friends Ave), 13222 Bailey St, Whittier, CA 90601:
  • Third Wednesday of March 2025, 7pm
  • Third Wednesday of September 2025, 7pm
  • Third Wednesday of December 2025, 7pm
• Whittier, CA – Roundtable Picnic at Palm Park’s Picnic Benches along El Rancho Dr, Whittier, CA 90606.
  • Second Wednesday of June 2025 (moved up one week)
• There is no Roundtable in July.

District Committee Meeting

2nd Wednesday of the month at 7pm.

The meeting is in the boardroom of the First Methodist Church of Whittier at 13222 Bailey St, Whittier, CA 90601. Enter through the double doors at the end of the parking lot on the west (right) side of the church then make your way through the room on the left.

Commissioner Meeting

Monday before Roundtable (either 2nd or 3rd Monday of the month) at 7pm.

Meets quarterly in-person and then other months on Zoom.

Order of the Arrow Kangee Chapter Meeting

1st Monday of the month at 7:30pm.

The meeting is in the basement of the Downey United Methodist Church at 10801 Downey Ave, Downey, CA 90241. Enter doors at the corner of Downey Ave and 5th St.
